Packing, Parties, and Pizza

I have been trying to find a way to blog without a computer... And who knew an iPod touch would do just the trick? So yes, the issue of no computer is because it was stolen last week from our rental car in California. It has been so eye opening how attached to technology everything we do is! However, the loss of the computer has given me more time to get some of the dreaded packing done. It has been so hot and in a house without air or many fans, it has been a bit rough! We have made some good progress even though it's getting harder everyday to leave. We are so excited for this adventure but as always, the unknown can be a bit overwhelming. We leave 20 days from today and it's flying by! We have a trip to Texas planned where we will get to spend some quality time with Taylor's cousins and my aunts, uncles, parents, siblings, and cousins. Taylor keeps referring to it as our farewell tour :) the benefit to moving soon? Parties! we are so loved and next week we will have 4 different parties that will remind us of this. Until then, we have managed to grocery shop only once this month, and eat pizza, as many times as the leftovers last! Needless to say, it has been a wonderful blessing to not be working this summer and I am loving being able to enjoy all these simple joys :) I am even more excited for Taylor to experience his first official summer next year, as a teacher :) oh the fun we will have!
