Since Taylor now has his own blog,There's A Bug in My Soup, I figure I can now take full control of this blog (even though the reality is that I have been the writer all along...tada!). Anyway, as I am alone, cleaning up the house for some visitors today, I have been struck yet again, with what an AMAZING, incredible husband God has blessed me with. I have my best friend, my confidant, my encourager, my partner in crime, my team mate and helper, and my love. It's been such a wonderful beginning for us. When I look back on the beginning of last year, our first year of marriage, I am reminded of some of the silly quirks we battled about each other. My need to clean the kitchen and dishes BEFORE we eat, Taylor's ability to fall fast asleep in the middle of a night time conversation, my obsession with brushing my teeth multiple times before calling it a night, and Taylor's love for throwing cups in the back of his car. Did I mention I LOVE HIM?!!? Anyway, while those are things of the past, we are constantly learning how to better communicate, better serve, and love each other. Every day feels like a new challenge but one that we both welcome. We feel God molding us and changing us--and while at times, it's uncomfortable and I need to retreat to a bubble bath to cope with it, Taylor invites me back into his heart immediately. It's such an amazing process God has created! But thanks to my thoughtful husband, the laundry is put away, the house and car are vacuumed, the dog is clean and I get a few minutes to myself to process it all....smart man, he is! I love you, T. Dub! I look forward to every day after...96 days 'til we travel the world hand in hand! TIAB! ;)
