But I have yet to wear them. I just am not sure I can bring myself to the 'fake jean' look. I'm sure the bright and early morning will come where I am running so late that it will just happen, I will end this fear, and we will be on our way. Until then, they sit on my dresser, reminding me of their silly name. AND THEN, they remind me of their ability to stuff into my boots without any bunching--and I am quickly enticed again. I think it's safe to say my brain is 'sick' as well. Time for a nap. And hopefully a reality check that a blog about jeggings might just not be worth my time ;)

Down for the Count
How bad is it that the only time I find to write on this blog...is when I'm home sick? MMM yes, the kids in my classroom have struck me with the 'sore throat' gift, yet again! Anyway. I have another confession. I have made a purchase that I am sure I have made fun of, as well. OH! FedEx is at the door. Alright. I have returned, paperwork for our new jobs in hand. More on that later. So this purchase I made. Perhaps it was impulse, or perhaps the truth is I drove to this store intentionally. Nonetheless I am still questioning if I am ok with this purchase? Curious? Yes, ladies and gentlemen, I purchased a pair of 'jeggings.' The name alone is somewhat embarrassing! And the concept, maybe even worse? Leggings made to look like denim. Gross, right? AND YET, I have envied them! So I bought them. Please see attached photo.

A Face Lift
Let's just be honest. This whole blogging thing takes effort! Which I have obviously been lacking! Nonetheless, I do have a desire to keep those in our lives informed. AND SO...I say it with utter embarressment, that I have not loaded pictures from my camera since November. Yes, November. Of 2010. We are now in January of 2011. Pure ridiculousness. I do apologize. I seem to have missed all the holidays! But on the bright side, Taylor and I are thriving! We are loving the fact that we have just celebrated 1 year of bliss (in China, might I add!) and that we are finally past the puppy stages of teething. Life is good! Seeing as I am struggling to remember simple details of the past 6 months, I must resort to the pictures. AND SO... I hunt. And then, I remember I have no China pictures on this computer. Oh, the difficulties I face! See? Blogging. LOTS of effort! Anyway, here are a few random shots from the last months of 2010. I think it's easy to see 'who' has been occupying our time--and we've loved every minute! Here's to a new year full of God's grace and blessings to you!
Our little Miss--getting big enough to cruise around town!
First swim!
Dinner with friends--before the summer weather escaped us!
TDub's first day of grad school! Nooma is going for her Master's, as well ;)

He finally found someone to shoot hoops with!
Our little "monster" on Halloween!
And yes, at the end of the day...she is a true cuddler!
